HOWDY. I'M JAMES
T-shirts. Jeans. Ideas.
I’ve been developing audience-grabbing, strategy-driven, and (gasp) award-winning experiences with every team I’ve joined or developed. Take a look around. Questions, feedback, and meetups over a drink are all welcome.
Work
I love developing ideas. Ideas that compel people to think the thoughts they can’t stop thinking.

I DON’T DO THIS FOR TITLES
I’m here to make things that move people.
I’m a creative director from the Midwest currently living in a place called Michiana which is where Michigan and Indiana hangout.
I started out with a degree in illustration and graphic design. Fast forward 10ish years, and now I'm a creative leader and product developer. After that I decided to lean into my passion and focus on my secondary education of design and innovation management. A few steps forward and I became a Creative Director working on brands from PayPal to Kellogg's. I still get jealous when I see brands engaging people in a unique way regardless of platform, and I’m driven to give marketing leaders that same jealousy.
I’ve gotten credit for my efforts from the Addys, the Trendys, and most importantly my teams. When I run out of ideas, you can find me listening to a podcast about rewatchable movies, throwing a disc, making a piece of art, sketching out a tattoo for a friend, or repairing my body from a game of late night hockey. But you can find this mostly on LinkedIn (I’m not saying, but I’m just saying).
