Safelite Auto Glass is a sponsor of the Tour of Utah and wanted to give away a promotional item during the race. Instead of the usual tchotchke I sold them on the idea of creating a souvenir poster for the race that would be a nice collectable. It was such a hit for them that they ran out of posters on the first day of the race. That response and success led to me doing posters for the next several years.
